Last year we played the winners of there league and beat them pretty easily, so hopefully we can do the same to these boys. Northend Shamrocks ABU

Away to shorts II on saturday should be a tight enough game going by the standard of teams we faced last year from amatuer leagues. these boys have started there season steady enough with 3 wins a draw and a lose. were missing deo zola brian paul and a few others but this will give the younger lads a chance so bring it on........

the very 1 fish and tbh i was shocked at how good he actually was and that was his 1st game in long time. had your big fella hill at 6s and 7s when the ball was played into his feet.

Decent enough win today against a average team considering the players we had missing andwith macca in nets.
We started off really well playing them off the park and went 1 up through a aaron kerr beauty then the usual s**t from belfast teams more interested in fighting and we got caught up in it and allowed them back in to it 1 1 after our keeper gave away a pen HT 2nd half we came at them again and went 2-1 up with another cracker from aaron then concedded a silly goal. but that seemed to spur us on and bear scored our 3rd with a nice wee lob over the keeper and tubesy wrapped it up with a smashing finish after great work by rory kinney who is in my eyes goina be a star in this league in the near future but in all honesty at such a young age he should be playing junior football with an irish league club.

Cant see it bap alot of the best young talent in the north of ballymena will end up with us as 1 they will get there chance with us as all saints have a really strong squad already albeit a very old 1 and there playing and fighting for trophys at the minute and it could seem a risk to play them with no expierence where as we are in a rebuilding process and there getting there chance and also the young guys who have just came out of youth football with us have plenty of mates involved with 1 of the best junior teams ever to come out of our area and with it being there last year im sure a few more will follow suit

Me in my head still falls a long way short of yourself in yours  I'm only a 38yo div3 player. You're a Div 1 Champion I just don't know the Jr Shield etc cos St C's always go out in 1st Rd. It's jealousy ;)on my part swear it is. |
