Got greenwell star away in the 1st round. Not till October and a lot of football to be played before it but good to have a wee European game to look forward too. Know nothing about them but asked a few boys on another forum what they were like n this is what one said ;D
"we beat thum last Thursday night in a 'friendly' at Londonderry Park, N'Ards. Abbey Villa IIs only, they'd a mixture of 1sts and 2nds. Strange game, we'd had easily the most and best chances in the 1st half but they were the better side. Referee (their chairman) shudd've sent a few off and gave us 2 penalties, I even suggested he asked for the offenders simply tae be subbed, wasn't havin any of it. They'll fight a the drop of a hat, especially their left-winger and big centre-half, one of our young lads had tae have a head-wound stitched after a head-butt, unreal attitude for a pre-season! 2nd half we made a few changes and cudd've ran out easy winners but it remained 1-nil, they've a wee guy (very tanned) in midfield who, if he'd forget about the fisticuffs, is very good goin forward, great passer of the ball and generally in amongst everything, but they lacked firepower. Goal-keeper looks like a flyin-pig but is a good shot-stopper, pulled off some very good saves and kept thum in the game, unfortunately another durty hallion, near cut 2 of our players in half (those were the not-given penalty incidents) IMO they're main tactic is intimidation and if it's not goin their way shudd lose a few players wi' a decent ref, stinkin attitudes, hope this helps and yizz stuff thum "
