Oooo abbeyview were a lucky bunch today I hear, what the hell is Essex at?? Hearing he didn't want to play cause braid had couple of big players, any truth. Il not put on here what I heard bout you jeff davy did you get your wee gift this morning? My source forgot to find out!

Last minute winner for Abbeyview today. Ref never showed up but we got a registered ref and the game went ahead. Such a kick in the teeth getting beat today but plenty of positives to take out of the game against the league favourites.

You's were unlucky this morning BoomBoom. Definitely deserved at least a draw there this morning. As fish says, days like today are about grinding out the result and getting the 3 points.

Abbeyview 4-3 Braid

Goals flame Zola Craig Davy mc

Where to start. Off to a horrendous start going a goal down in seconds. Recovered to lead 2-1 through flame and a great free from Zola before being pegged back again. Craig put us back in front but back came braid again to level it at 3-3 at half time.

Second half imo we controlled the game without creating chances and when the keeper saved from flame and the defender somehow got back to scoop the rebound over the bar I thought it wasn't gonna be our day. We finally got the winner in saints time through Davy McWilliams finished with finesse into the bottom corner.

We were brutal today. You can't play well in everygame and after a great start we were sloppy today. Having said that we kept plugging away and got the win. Harsh on braid as they did enough to earn a point imo. Braid are a well organised outfit and I think they will have a good season.

Watched the majority of this game today ,took abbeyview a while to get going against a good braid side ,not the good slick passing game the view played on tues night but you will get games like that can only get better,braid will definatly take alot of points off teams that are'nt expecting it.......

There's a lot of teams in the division capable of winning the league far too early in the season to say who will win what. Do we get uz in the cup never knew that.

Yeah we got yous in the cup. Think youse got a bye in the 1st round to meet us in the 2nd round. Yes diff i reckon you are right in your rivalry point but it all stays on the pitch. lol. Im sure everyone will shake hands at the end of this one. As for the boys who are playing the garlic, there season has finished now so its a great boost to have them available for every game. As jeff said theres many teams capable of winning the 2nd this year but IMO yous have prob got the best squad to do it.
