Third game of the league tonight and our 2nd win, as per usual we didnt make it easy for ourselves but 6 points out of a possible 9 is a healthy start! 1 change tonight, Fulton back in nets after his summer goal keeping school in barbados. Both teams well up for the game with a few tasty tackles flying in early! Connor took the lead, a foul on one of our players was ignored and connor went on to attack and went one up with a great finish from Jamie White, great play and a low drive into the bottom corner, not many keepers would have stoppe it! With 10 mins left in the 1st half sofian aka soulflame, was put through, beat the race with his marker and cooly slotted home the equaliser, with a couple of minutes left in the half, big rick sent the ball over the top with a free kick, a bit of a mix up ensued between the defenders and connor goalkeeper and sofian ran through to tap into an empty net to go 2-1 at the whistle! The second half was much like the first with both teams having posession and spells on the ball, great defending from gilmour and tweed kept connor at bay for periods and through Paul Craig and Colin Corry in midfield we made a few chances ourselves! After a few deflections the ball fell at the feet of a connor forward with 5 mins left who made it 2-2. Great mentality and a fighting spirit urged us on and with a minute to go Micky King slid sofian through who dinked it over the keeper to win the game and claim his hat-trick!
