Second game of the season and our first points on the board! 3-2 v Glenravel, though I think the two goals flattered them a bit! If we play like that in every game we will def be up in the running come the end of the season! Great performance at the back, dont think the boys missed one header, midfielders worked well going forward and defending together, the two wingers were outstanding and a good shift up top by the strikers! Gordy got the 1st, a penalty after great wing play by Boydy and Sofian ( soon to be lovers) and Boydy was brought down in the box, Gordy provided a cool finish to give us the goal that we deserved and needed. After the opener we settled and started to play the way we know we can, a second goal from some good defending and quick thinking sent Boydy through who finished calmly to make it 2-0 at the break! The 'feed the boyd and he will score' moniker was soon put into practice again when he rounded the keeper and finished from a tight angle to put us 3-0 up! As the game progressed and a few 1/2 chances were created Glenravel got back in the game before netting another with 2 minutes to go. Great performance all round from everyone on the pitch! More of the same needed on Wednesday and wish Glenravel best of luck in the remainder of the season!!
