Good workout for us tonight in out first game of pre-season, I know carnlough were missing a stack of players but still a good performance from us.
Goals scorers McQuitty 4, Orin 2 and Crilly.
Good luck to Dingle and the Carnlough lads for the season.

While bit of f**king about from us at the back was embarrassing & obviously not having a keeper didn't help but thought Mich were excellent tonight, well organised all over. Cheers for the game & hopefully we will return the favour at some stage

well played tonight lads. fitter, stronger, faster than us. some great passing & movement off the ball. very good at the back too. i could write a book on how bad we were defensively but michelin didn't half punish our mistakes. fair play & good luck to you's for the season.

Cheers lads, have a few keeper problems ourselves at the minute though Davy brown done well for us tonight, you just dont apprecite a good keeper til he's gone ;D Back 4 played well, though hopefully if we could persuade our trialist centre half to get signed up it would be a massive bonus for us. Think there was a really really late bid for Stevie Morgan in the mich dugout tonight but we got knocked back

The referee was the agent acting on behalf of Michelin from the conversation I overheard Didn't want to mention your trialist incase others got wind but he would be a massive signing & a great fella to have about

Paul Aiken is a good signing for youse as well dingle, did Roversno1 not sign?

Think the gaffer enquired about roversno1 but his form was already signed elsewhere.
The agent I spoke of was in conversation with stevie not your trialist.
From what the trialist told me in our brief chat I'd be hopeful enough!

Great result tonight and plenty of goals. Talk of relegation is just rubbish if I do say so...

I was gonna knock it all in the head in the summer but it's hard to stay away, especially with a few of my good mates there as you know so I just help out when I can. In a perfect world id love to be back playing and im hoping there's a slight chance i might be able to, need to lose a few stone therefore having a free use of gym is also worth hanging around for ;D

several teams were after paul, mostly higher than us so we can consider ourselves very fortunate to have got him. cracking wee player, looking forward to getting to see him play alongside benny. the pair of them would be horrible to mark.

In a perfect world id love to be back playing and im hoping there's a slight chance i might be able to, need to lose a few stone therefore having a free use of gym is also worth hanging around for ;D I can't stress it enough just how difficult I found it to lose weight. After an op in Jan 2009 where I was unable to train for almost 5 months for bones to heal, I rocketed up the weight in months, accompanied by the fact I received a claim and ate like a pig for the duration lol!! When I went for the op I weighed around 12 stone...I reported for Broadway's pre season at the end of June at a ridiculous 15 (or very slightly under it). Disgraceful!! I battled for years, not missing trainings and at that time even holding down a first team place in the early months of the season where we went on to be champions before picking up a knee injury that kept me out for another 3 months. When you're carrying a lot of weight I found I picked up more injuries, probably because yer body isn't used to it and yer doing too much because yer so far behind. I bit the bullet last May or June and joined Slimming World. I had a redner walking in to use the scales etc when it's mostly all women at it, it wasn't easy but by f**k it worked!! The first week I lost half a stone...within a month I was down a stone. It will get you down the scales and give you something to work with but as with everything else it's up to you to stay there or build on it. I honestly couldn't stress enough how helpful this was in my own battle. I don't go anymore but try to stick to it at home and have adapted to it as a lifestyle change. Make no mistake I'll have to odd day where I'll eat a pizza or a load of chocolate etc but in general it's a basis to stick to. I know another member on here who had similar success with Weight Watchers (I'll not name him as we talked in confidence) so either one would certainly be worth looking into!!!

Good post there fishy, obvious how much a problem/ annoyance it was to you at the time just by seeing the length of your post! Unless you are a 'big lad' it really isnt understood by others how difficult a problem it really can be and how much it can get you down ( I was going to use the word 'deflate' you there but didnt seem appropiate ;D ) Personally im gutted its got to this extreme again as about 5 /6 years ago I lost about 5 stone in 6 months of pure hell of constantly going to fitness first and not eating any s**t at all, but then a had a run of stag doo's and holidays, no gym and weight back on inside a year! Brutal!
