First pre season on monday against Chimney Corner res up there on that massive pitch!That'll run the 12th festivities outta them  Another 3 lined up over the next week or two against Glebe res, Raceview res and a team from Bushmills so hopefully we get a good look at the new lads and get them a good run out. |

Beat 3-2 by Corner reserves last night. Good run out for alot of new faces but disappointed not to have got a win as they were good wee side at knocking the ball around nicely but we gifted them the 3 goals. Tried alot of new pairings at the back,midfield etc and we only had 4 maybe 5 players on who played last season. New boys did well but it takes time to gel so hopefully that will come by the end of the friendlies Next up Glebe reserves on sat which will be another load of young hures full o running!! I'm blowing out my arse now by the time i do the warm up lol! |

Away to Glebe Rangers reserves tomorrow morning.10.15 ko at the Joey Dunlop. Should be another good chance to get all the new faces and the new young chaps a run out. Be tough as this team are always top two in the 1st div afternoon lge every year. All about the fitness though |

Didn't think we deserved to be beaten 4 today but taking nothing away from a very good side that move the ball very well and are fit as fiddles. We were missing a fair few first teamers (imo) and i think that showed with a few boys off the pace at times. Never done enough to trouble them in the final third but again served its purpose to get the squad game time. That said,need to improve for monday night as we head to play Raceview reserves at the Michelin.
