couple of decent players. big kevin hegarty at cb was good in the air, number 8 in cm was excellent and left mid was lively too. they were prob the better side apart from a 20-30 min spell in 2nd half.

Wasn't disrespecting them at all. Jus wanting to know what we wer up against. It was only a friendly, maybe they didnt have their best team. Not a nice introduction to the league for them but abbeyview are a good side. I'm sure they'll improve as the season goes. Never easy for a new team starting out as it will take them time to gel and what not!

these things happen. our 2nds got beat 17 last year. gives the lads all the more reason to work harder. nothing tells you you're not as good as you think you are like a heavy beating. bayer money will win some, lose some & they'll not face a team in the 3rd as good as abbeyview. good luck to them.
