fc antrim 3 - ardoyne 3 bit late putting this up though was a good run out and got a few players a game, the rust showed though, first 15 mins thought we were in for a tanking! Play kilrea this week at forum, seem a very good side as i watched fc play them last year, well beat if i can remember. Scores don't really mean much though in pre - season, getting the football right is the test  |

Both the bradleys (skinner and paddy) play for them donks. From what i was told cooper didnt headbut the ref he just pushed his head against the refs lol so it wasnt classed as a headbut. Think coopers talking (as they wolud say in kilrea) PURE DUNG. haha

fc antrim 4-4 kilrea. good game although we should have won it. 3-0 up at half time and a new team out in the second half. everyone put a shift in though, all looks positive at the fc camp!!

Thought the ref was outstanding in the first half......there was a well dodgy centreback on in the 2nd though

played these boys again as they were let down, alot of different faces in there side from last game though. Was a good game apart from puddles in one half of pitch making a c%!t of most at some stage ;D Goals from animal (pen) stevy hamilton and big joe.

Pitch was shocking last night, nearly a swimming pool just ahead of the 18 yard box, think it could be out of action for a while

If I was reffing it would have been called off. I went a run on the other 2 pitches the other night, still some big holes in them, some hasty work needed for next week. Think the forum are using the wee pitch at the changing rooms this year too for the new teams. |

if that wee pitch was just a tad bigger i reckon it could be best pitch down there, be interesting to see how the forum will accommodate all the teams, sure it will be fine though

The wee pitch has very poor drainage. It's also a ballix getting balls back from the road/the park/the astroturf/ the boilers at the forum

fc -3 newpark 1
another tuff game the day against a very good newpark side, 2 late goals sealed it for us, newpark will do well this year, some good players. goals from stevy hamilton, big joe and good to see hale getting his first goal for club. Also good to get floydy make his debut aswell.

Agree with donks and kpd. We were very sloppy and a lot of us boys couldnt really get in to the game. We have a great squad down at fc and if we can all stick together we will do well this season. And kpd your right newpark have sum good players but they were also missing a few players today like ourselves. Thought this match was gona be a we bit fiesty but in all fairness there wasnt a dirty tackle at all. (apart from billys on me the 1st 10 mins.) LOL. It was good to see the game being played in a good spirit. Good luck to newpark this season if they keep there team and players stay injury free they have to be 1 of the favourites for the 3rd.
