First friendly tomorrow, 7th July, with Coleraine Liverpool Supporters Club. They had a decent run in the Junior Cup so should be tough opposition.

Do all their players support Liverpool? ;D no idea mate. i imagine so. know very little about them other than they got to last 16 of junior cup & won the coleraine league last year. i'd say we'll have our hands full with them. |

Carnlough Swifts 1-4 Coleraine Liverpool Supporters Club
Good workout, matched these boys for 1st half. Dunga struck one from about 35/40 yards to put us 1-0 up. They equalised with a penalty just before half-time. Second half we made changes & by the end it was mostly our 2nds playing. They got 2 in the last 10 minutes to add a flattering look to the scoreline but we gave them a good game for the most of it.
Decent bunch of lads & all came back for a beer, food & a quiz after.

Me and maccers are assisting the manager. The wife works every other Saturday now so with 2 kids unfortunately couldn't committ to ballymoney in the way I would have liked even though I still could have stayed on.
Anyway new season new start so looking forward to it
