Could i just point out to everyone who isn't aware already that Cloughmills have a football team in the BSML.We go by the name of Cloughmills Thistle and were formed in 2000.Cloughmills F.c were already established in the league and competed in the 1st division that season and they had a wonderful side and we started our club as many people (including myself were not ready for that level. However this is not the case now as we have only settled this season past in the 2nd and are always on the look out for new players, especially from our own village! If you would like to pm myself for details about training etc i'm sure you and all the players you have would be made most welcome. Thanks!

Surely a wee village like cloughmills only needs one team!!!
Colm if your sitting in the house bored you should go to their training and bring your mates. I'm sure everyone is welcome at the local club.
Another team in the village would surely not help cloughmills thistle progress, but with you boys coming in it could help the club get stronger and buildin the foundations set by rab and Ricky.
Makes no sense whatsoever to have two clubs in a wee village like cloughmills!!!!

Aye Pele and Davy are besties atm Have to strongly agree that we actually struggle as it is to get players from the village. As i said earlier we had to start another team in Cloughmills as the likes of Ally McGarry and winker watson were playing and there was no chance young boys would get a look in cos they had a super side.We worked alongside with Patsy Smith splitting training costs etc though. This is the first i've heard of this club tbh but as Pele said we are a very mixed club and open to anyone.Big things happening with the club regarding playing closer to home etc and there is alot of work going on behind the scenes. If everyone from C'mills played for us we'd have a pretty decent local side.Every village could say the same though but we've players at Clough afternoon,Dunloy,Homers, its ridiculous!!

fc bayern money are from ballymoney & play at dervock. glenravel isn't far from ballymena. if you were going toward cushendall its out that way. there is a pitch & a petrol station in cargan although im led to believe they not be using the pitch in cargan as its meant to be rubbish.

And 2 petrol station's :-)Calor Gas Village in Bloom 3yrs running :-).Nearly more flowers than Broughshane.Ahoghill has the great San Siro with brill changing rooms and a 3g fenced area in 2013 behind the bowling green being built, brill parking and 2 teams in the 1st Div with 2 different pubs to go back for a swally(used to be 3).Although talk of an afternoon team forming in next couple of yrs :-)In the Ballymena area the wee village has now a population of 4000 and is the largest village in Ballymena borough ;-) plenty of room out here :-)
