Everyone has been telling me for ages that the 3rd team in this division was going up anyway. Now that Glenarm have withdrawn Monty informs me that Braid are going up to replace them. How did everyone know that Glenarm were going to pull out ages ago? Or should Galgorm be going up to replace Glenarm as Braid were already up before Glenarm pulled out, subject to agreement at the AGM. I'd love to know the real story of whats going on!

months ago i was at a league meeting & the subject was brought up that broadway celtic had folded & the way this would be worked out to get div 1 back to 14 teams was for 2 to get relegated from the 1st & 3 to get promoted. it was mentioned that this would leave 13 in the 2nd. at this time we (carnlough) were struggling & i asked would it be the same in 2nd, 2 go down & 3 go up. i was told no that 3 would get relegated & an extra team would come up from the 3rd.
since then glenarm have also folded & it looks like fc pen will be in the 1st. that means 14 in 1, 13 in 2 & 3. now imo the easy way to sort it out is promote 1 from 3rd & if there's new teams they go into the 3rd. if no new teams join i'd go with 14, 13 & 13.

The season ended with
13 in first
14 in second
14 in third
2 down from 1st, along with glenarm leaving, means 4 come up from second to make 14.
2 from 1st relagated to 2nd, giving 12 teams, 3 relegated to the third which leaves 9 teams, with 4 coming up from the 3rd to make 13.
So unless they are leaving the second with 13 teams they need another side up as it stands it would be
first 14
second 13
third 13

Absolute shambles, it was already sorted that 4 were going up fro the 3rd because of broadway, now glenarm have folded it is only right that Galgorm go up and hopefully their is some new teams in the league.

this will all be sorted at the AGM on 18th June but going by experience i reckon an extra team from 3rd will go up!! leaving 2 spaces in Division 3 for new applicants!!

I know there are 2 new teams wanting to join the league, 1 of them is called bayern money. I hope all you people are right cos monty told me on the phone on monday night that penarol and braid are going up because glenarm dropped out. If thats right I want montys lottery nums for friday night!
