End Of Season

The footballing side of the season finished officially on Saturday past with an in house friendly. Good craic but the less said of my own performance the better. 
Overall it wasn't a bad season for us. We got off to a very poor start & it looked like a relegation battle was on the cards but we managed to steady the ship once the winter months arrived as our squad settled a bit & we got a bit more consistency. From November we went on a good run & managed a comfortable 5th place finish. 
Along the way we managed to take points off all 4 of the clubs who ended up getting promoted to the 1st & for me the highlights were the Ahoghill win & the 6-6 Cup game v FC Penerol. I'll tell anyone who'll listen to me that the FC Penerol game was the best game I've ever saw. 
It would have been nice to have got to a Final but we were deservedly beaten in the Playoff Semi-Final by a good Dunloy side. 
Next up it's the Clubs Dinner on 9th June were we can finish up the season  off the pitch. Should be a good night.

I'm sure they will, AGM is this Monday so whoever is appointed manager myself or maccers will pass the info on & take it from there

what dingle says. we'll let the new manager know on monday & you can work out dates/venues etc.

it would be great if true but i'd be surprised. Trying to figure out who the 5 first division players are.
