Over the moon.. fc pen where nearly down and out when i signed and think if big junior hadnt took the job has manger they wud have been gone so big thanks to him. well done to every1 at penarol we all have worked are balls off till get back to the 1st...

Yeah agree, the club was close to the wall and big Junior came in and signed about 200 players  he deserves a lot of credit. Wee Finlay has came back in really steadied things and progressed again with the help of yous boys! I know the wee man is already speaking to a few potential targets so hopefully he can get a few in as they will be needed. |

yeah more or less same team junior had but finaly got more out of us all.. Hes was tellin me the other nite he was talkin to a few but the kind of people you have to go and see 7 or 8 times lol.. big junior was wild man seen any1 want sign for me no mater if the had there bus pass or not..

Bit disappointed, wanted to go into the 1st with a trophy.. same thing happened last year with Broadway Celtic and Thistle were given the chance to go up but they wanted to win a trophy first (and the fact it happened so close to the start of the season).
I am sure Finlay has the yellow pages open.

Lads next seasons aim will be to stay up and a year in the first will make yous all better players.
Wee Finlay will have yous well organised and also will play yous in your positions ;D

be good 2 get a crack at the big guns next season! agree wif ye rocky, still gutted about the other night, but the play offs r a lottery, 1 bad game was all it took, over the course of the season we finished 3rd, so i think we deserve 2 go up, all be it by default in the end. Defo need new blood, hopefully get a few people signed early doors, get tapping lads ;D

agree way big rocky wuda loved to of went up in style but if u had said at the start of the season we'd have got promotion id of takin it! jus hope we get few players in to beef up the squad and makes us play for our places as i dont fancy bein a LB :-P |

i think we should give it another year or 2 b4 tryna give a push for the first division, get a few signings in a gelled in the team..... dont wana be going up and becoming the whipping boys, coz at this moment thats wats gonna happen..... need atleast 5 players in to even have a chance of staying up.... all having a meeting on saturday and think we finlay's gonna ask us the question, id say deep down hes thinking the way i m

yeah I agree saus, I was thinking is that what Finlay wants us down in to talk about. I think another year in the 2nd would do us no harm, look how far the team has came along in just 2 seasons of playing together.
But then you can argue that playing against better opponents can help you raise your game.

naw just thinkin here the we man's never gonna turn down first division football, he took over the club expecting it like so why not take the oppurtunity thats thrown at him.... my opinion is wer nower near good enough, but a good pre season and a few signings in might change that opinion..... anyways MON THE WEE F.C.P |

Haven't heard anything about it, i think Finlay said it was all to be sorted at the AGM when he first heard about it, dunno when that is tho. I had a funny feeling this might happen, but another season in the 2nd wouldn't be bad for us, altho i would be gutted not 2 get a crack at the big boys next year |

well, altho it mighta been in the back of r minds in the playoffs we were already up, it's our own fault for not winning them so we wouldn't of had 2 worry about this!!! but i'd like 2 think next season, if were in the 2nd, we can be up challenging for the title

Bad craic lads as this seems to be the outcome of last night's meeting..
Not fair on yese and probably hard to take.
Another year in the 2nd though will give yese time to build and prepare yerselves for the step up!!

cant believe it, them boys should be made start again from the 3rd.... wasnt in2 the idea at first but came round and was keeping contact with the BOSS regular, absolute farce like.... abit of common sense woulda helpe them boys, have a good think about it before making the decision and all this wouldnt of happened.... anyway wer as good as ballykeel etc so hopfully give the title a good push next season ;D
