england done as well as they could. you line up 4-4-2 against thst italian team & you're going to be dominated. set their stall out not to lose & maybe nick one from a set piece. they nearly got a few from set pieces but got their draw. lost the coin toss at the end. can't blame hodgson for that.

For a team most said wouldnt qualify from there group with injurys and a manager just installed i think they can go home saying they did well getting put out on penalty's.To be honest maybe a good thing cos Germany would prob have won 3-4 with them tired legs tonight.Still showed some character and passion although were really poor 2nd half but battled on.Unlike Chelsea they hadnt the luck.In all honesty the manager team and subs were prob the best he could have done with that squad.If Italy go on to win it it England will not look so bad.Gonna support Portugal now :-)

Plenty expected them to not do it.Sure when Roy picked Henderson Kelly etc loads thought it plenty of jokes etc,know a few lads even did a few quid on it.And they were lucky at that to get threw.I had belief honestly thought they would have won tonight but not to be.Maybe in Brazil  :-) |
