Abbeyview 2-3 carniny Gave everything tonight and probably can count ourselves unlucky not to get at least a point. When we went one nil up early in the second we had them rattled but we got pegged back ended up tryin to park the bus too early. No9 came to their rescue again with two goals out of nothing included a trademark dowse overhead kick (won't mention the high feet  ) Credit to carniny they never give up and are never beat. we can take a lot of positives from tonight and regardless of which division we play in next year we will be ready after a good per season. We have to rely on favours from ahoghill and clough now so we will just see what happens. Good luck to carniny for the run in good bunch of lads. Except cocky n dowie still not happy wi them gettin big duck banned ;D all the best lads |

Was a great game to play in pele obv not the result we wanted but I couldn't fault any of our players tonight.

Fair post jeff, when yous beat the homers n gets points of saints you wonder why yous are down there but i believe it was hard gettin players, good wee team there n decent lads to apart from that heavy keeper!! :-) some nice we saves all the same jeff!

Aye it's been a tough old season mate but we will be stronger for having it behind us. Building for next season has started already. Playing the top four wasn't our problem this year it was games against the bottom 4 or 5 teams that has cost us. We had enough chances to win enough games but haven't taken them. We will just have to rely on lady luck being on our side now it's out of our hands. |
