Can anyone tell me is there anyway of getting a match called off whenever we cant field a team due to the hurling championship on this weekend and we have asked Holywell to call it off but they want it played. Is there anything else we can do?

Is there anything else we can do? I don't think it. I believe you have to ask for the date to be off before the fixtures are out. Holywell have every right to play it. You could always give them the points and not turn up. The real sport should come 1st

R secretary was told about last mon unless she waited until the fixtures came out I don't know, but this is the second time it's happy we ask for the carnlough game off and it was the same thing. There was us doing the decent thing and we called off the came with ballykeel and the braid cause they couldn't get a team last week but we will know for again.
