Apparently the upgrade resets your iMessage settings. You might need to check if your settings are correct.

There's also been reports of the Facebook integration in the upgrade causing problems with sending messages, but I haven't a bleedin clue what to do with that ;D

There's a few steps you need to follow to set it up. I'd advise checking apples website they have some instructions on there for setting up iCloud.

As for the youtube app, this has been removed for iOS6 (due to apple and google falling out) and is no longer available. You will now have to get onto the app store and install a new one!! Or you could always just go onto the youtube web site on your iPad and upload videos that way!!

Now excuse me while I get back to work and try get my own app running on iOS 6
