Tuesday night at Dunfane, the biggest game in Northend's history.
We cannot pass up this opportunity tomorrow night lads, a win and nothing less.

Have to say, considering the problems the club encountered last season, particularly before McCrudden stepped in and worked just to keep it in existance, getting over the line tomorrow night to become Division 2 Champions will be a massive achievement.
Thistle have been superb this season but yese haven't let them out of yer sights and kept believing....tomorrow night ye just might get yer rewards for doing so!!

Apparently Smiley had a t-shirt made at the start of the season as he expected the 2nd to be so easy he'd bag 100 goals. He fell just a little short of his tally though and organised a game of heads and volleys down Dunfane so he could get a few more goals and sport this delightful t-shirt. Asked afterwards about it he said, " it's like this here sham, I used to play for All Saints but didn't really get on with many, mostly because they are racist. They dislike Ginger people and although there are a few other gingers, they don't actually know they're gingers and they too are racist against the gingers....anyway, being the only natural ginger, there was only one other person at the club worse off than me and he was a little boy known locally as Hudsy. The reason for this is because, although he wasn't ginger, you'd have needed some peepers at ye to see far enough towards the back of his head where his fringe was to prove he wasn't. We got talking and dispite all his problems I actually kinda liked him. It was him told me to go to Northend where they accepted gingers, mostly because Monk had a few light ales on a Friday night and wouldn't notice...he said the second division was s**te and that 100 goals was possible for anyone who could walk in a straight line and could tie their own boots, although he stressed the latter part wasn't essential.
....I would have scored 200 never mind 100 if Brady had passed the f**king ballIt was then he ran aff to celebrate winning heads and v's and showed off his new shirt.....  |
