Noone knows when the weather will be bad though, could have bad snow in december or jan, feb. Play the games when the weather allows.

Sure the bsml normally does take a "winter" break there was to be no games between 18th december to 8th January this year regardless of the weather!!

Firstly Dowie, i think this is a bit premature weve had a bit of a cold spell, and to be honest i think a lot of games could have been played, plus the thaw is definately on its way any day now.
Secondly, I think Monty should build a purpose built, 20 pitch 7g indoor arena, so that if the weather is a bit cooler all games are on. Its for the good of Ballymena football, so come on Monty lets sort it out son.
Thirdly, i think people should take their holidays in the winter, so summer football wudnt be the worst idea. Theres no point flying off to Bendindor or Ibeefa when its warm here, better going to the Canaries in the Winter.
But seriously i agree with johnnymcc if the weathers bad you get a winter break anyways, if its not then you can play games?

I just think the way the GAA is run would suit better. Not many of there games ever called off but in sayin that I would prob find it strange not playin through the bad weather nothin like playin on a rainy surface....
Suppose your right ratman it is too early I'm just f**ked off cos I don't think I've had a run of 3 games in a row this season....

Feck the summer football,to many men with gaa commitments, the girlband for 1 wld be affected bad, also northend wld miss the clown(although they have done quite a few times anyway ) and quite a few other teams have gaa heads playin...... How's about settling postponed games with bare knuckle boxing in the multi storey 11 scraps a game 1st to 6 wins gets the 3 points,im quite sure teams like thistle, inter stars, shore wld be more than willing

i think you are onto something clown, although i reckon you either put forward your tightest player or else the manager...although Arfur McClean Lawman would red a lot of boys up with his martial arts background.

I think mcclean wld find it tough going against our gaffer stephen "the ankle biter monk" campbell but these fights wld have to be either fought to the death or 1 of the fighters is in no state to continue i.e in a coma, broken back(after been threw from top of multi storey) 2 boken legs(as u can still stand and scrap on 1) or completly blinded(not just for a few days,i mean blinded for life) harsh yes but cant have a draw in these proposed battles as its 3 points or skelps!!!!!!!!!!!
