Just stole this photo from Gareth Burnside. Wondering how many of the under-14 Magpies from 1995/6 (approx) went on to be stalwarts of the BSML or are still playing today. Any ex Magpies care to comment? Attachments:

Me and Pele10 used to play for Carnmoney Colts you know! The keeper was Holmesy. Him and Brady had fisticuffs after the game, it was split up and Holmesy threw a wobbler, took the boots off and threw them at Brady! Think Brady lifted them and launched them to f**k haha!

Clown you have a good memory.
I don't remember too much detail about games, but I'll never forget the day we voted for a new captain in Maggie's kitchen. We voted for Karl Davis and big Mo got straight up and walked out, said he'd never play again if he wasn't captain!

Magpies, what a team!
Getting changed in Maggies kitchen, kept our own kits (Ajax one was a wee beaut) and washed them ourselves too. Maggie was brilliant!!
Some really talented players played for Magpies and was probably some of the most fun I ever had for a team.
Clown -- it was Ahoghill in the final at the Showgrounds -- I only remember this as wee Brady took the hand out of Dale Gordan for the duration, and Dale got the MOTM award as he was the 'next big thing' at the time.
First year we were all 12/13 except for Leslie, where we done really well. Next year we were 13/14 and got runners up in league, cup winners and quarter final in the NI cup. Some achievement for a wee team literally picked in a kitchen on a saturday afternoon!! lol!
Clown - I remember the day Brady hit wee Holmsey (Carnmoney Colts GK) -- my dad had to break it up - Brady threw his boot into some aul dolls garden (pitch was up at orangefields in belfast) and the wee GK had to go in and get it! Some craic!!
I remember us getting beat by Ballykeel Boydy - 1-0 - up at Ballykeels pitch. They had a full line out abusing us! lol! We played them again 2 weeks later at dunfane and won 9-0!!
Big Chris Butler was a great goalkeeper - but had very little to do at times, so used to be hanging off the feckin goalposts and chatting to all the wee dolls walking behind the nets!! haha!

What about the day Maggie hit the big man for East End at Dunfane?? lol!
She walked onto the pitch, handbag in hand, and hit him about 6 times with it!! Few lads had to drag her off him and he ran off down the pitch!!! lol!
Then about 10 mins later, Karl and Anthonys mum shouts "c'mon boys, lets get a few here!"
And some wee man from East End says to Karl:
East Ender: "That ur ma?"
Karl: "Aye why"
East Ender: "Bit of an ugly hure.."
Karl hit him once, and Anthony, who had heard this and was about 20 yards away, also had him hit before the wee dude hit the ground!! lol!
