Guys just letting you all know that justy and myself are the new management team at the swifts. I'd echo justy's last comment that there isnt anyone in the league who put in as much effort as stan over the last couple of years to keep this club running. Justy and myself will do our best to keep that hard work and the club going.
We want to keep all the players and there has been a very positive response so far. We'll get a meeting and training session organised next week and take it from there.

stan will still be there to support the lads. we will fight to the end boys. the swifts will survive.
and justy and bobby yous will make a good management partnership. good lads who stepped up to the plate to keep stans swifts alive

yeah fishter, he was a great manager and one of the nicest fellas, he gave me my first chance at first team football and the chance to prove myself in the league. hes is no longer manager but like he told me he will still be there to give his support.
its wee bobby carling used to play for us. him and justy will do well in charge.
let the fight back commence

more twists and turns in the swifts fiasco.
bobby has told stan he cant take charge because he doesnt have the time. dont know if justy will take over by himself. we need a new manager to step up quick.

Unfortunate Kirk. Bobby would make a great manager / coach, and Justy is a sound lad, and will def do a good job in there too. Sounded like things were on the up again.
I would say if the majority if the players stay there will be someone even to give Justy a hand when needed!!!

Absolute nonsense. Brian and myself have been running the team for the last 8 months and will keep doing that until we get a manager in that we are happy with. We've got a decent team together at minute and are getting a pitch in the town again for this season so that should help attract a few more players this year:)

No1 has mentioned anything to myself or Bobby about leaving and everyone has seemed positive. This is the bsml tho and people change their minds on a daily basis about who they will/won't be playing for!!!

your right there brian, until they are on a form nothing's certain! we dont need to be losing anymore players after the mass exodus of last season.
I need a good preseason under my belt, but hopefully being available every week next season will help with the fitness too.
I worked out that i played cushendall and steadfast twice last season and thats it, i didnt play another team twice!! stupid fecking wedding lol!!!

i would have no problem telling her, but ive discovered recently that the dogs kennel isnt the most comfortable place to sleep...much rather be allowed in my bed haha!!!!
Ill maybe just never let on that ive got saturdays off and just tell her im for work!
