Looks like he'll be out by the morning, about time right enough.
Who do the scousers fancy to take over?
Martin O'Neill favourite at minute but cant see it.
Hodgson I can see taking over though.

Hiddink,Grant and O'Neill seem to be the front runners.
I'd like to see O'Neill get it tbh.

Not sure I can see this happening. My understanding is that they will give him 3million to go but sure all he has to do is wait until he's sacked and they would have to pay 16million. No brainer if you're in it for the money. I like the man but something has to change and unfortunately for Rafa, having Stevie G and Torres at the club is more important than Rafa. Blame American owners all you want, Rafa didnt get a lot of the basics right and made himself look stupid and therefore lost a lot of trust with supporters ie Aquilani - when fit didnt play him most of the time. Don't rate Hodgson or O'Neill for the job at Liverpool. They have done great at Villa and Fulham but not what is required at Liverpool - good men if you want to have a bit of stability at the club but we need something quicker than what they could produce. Would love to have seen Mourinho but that was wishful thinking. Hiddink would be a good man for the job and would like to see him there but he is probably too high profile and would cost too much to get . Probably end up with Gareth Southgate or Paul Jewell ;D ;D

Within 10 minutes of me saying that i don't think Rafa will be leaving, it has been announced that Rafa will be ....................... leaving !!!! Right who wants odds on the next statement coming from Liverpool will be that Martin o'Neill and Hodgson are to be joint managers at Liverpool !!!!!!

I actually think losing Alonso left a massive hole in the side as his quality was amazing offencely and defencely.

When a club is satisfied with a top 6 finish and a couple of cup runs where is the ambition in that. Liverpool fans rightly or wrongly expect at least a Top 4 finish and a cup of some description. Benitez scraped throught he last few years because he got to the final of the Champions League and pushed Man Ure last season for the title. I think the flaws in the club became apparent last year hence the dismal cup runs and awful league position. Whether Benitez is at fault for all is a matter for debate but Aston Villa more ambitious than Liverpool............

i must be the only liverpool fan that doesnt want kenny, he had a great team when he was manager. but never replaced players that were getting on a bit, so when he did jack it in he left behind a team of players that were done, and we never recovered.
