im sure sat was hard for the big man to take but i swear i hope he doesnt resign. big cecil is pure gentleman and waveney and bsml would be worse off if he resigned. dont see why he would - good panel o players there..... and after sat perhaps players should take a look at themselves instead of manager walking. mayb im speakin out o turn but not much manager could have done to stop that on sat............

Def agree with you herbs -- nothing cecil couldve done on sat.
Have said this before - but big man is heart and soul of Waveney -- pure gentleman and theres no-one in the BSML who has a bad word to say about him.
Are you saying some players should walk instead Herbs?

nah no way pele10 - as i said use have v good panel and should be higher up table - but sometimes the players have to get together and decide to stand up and fight bit more for the club / manager. think use could hit some team a score shortly!!! lets hope it is michelin - LOL - only joking mich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to be fair like stevie pulled off a great save to stop it goin 3-1 to use and any defence is gonna struggle against our attacking players so use were unlucky. happens sometimes

Unfortunately Big Cecil has decided to part company with the Waveney, after about 8 years in charge.
This is a massive loss to us, but hopefully with the squad and lads we have at the team, we can reform and hopefully develop on what the Big Man has built at the club.
He will be missed, and I for one wish him all the best in whatever he does!!!

As mentioned earlier Chesney - I have heard that he is stepping down as Manager -- but the team still have to chat to the big man himself -- so I cannot really confirm anything till I we hear it from Cecil himself like!!

Heard Cecil resigned again yesterday. From what I hear all's not well there and its pretty sad to hear. Honestly thought you would have gone and got the 3 points yesterday.

:Dnot at all richaldo. Just thought with the 2 courtneys missing for ye's and with all the drama at waveney last wk, thought they would have been really up for it to put it right. Good 3 points for ye's

Yeah i know what you mean. Actually we have been playing extremely well in matches recently, and thats 2 wins on the bounce for us. Even with the two Courtney's missing, we have players that have stepped up to the mark, and we deserved our win yesterday. There's definately good player's amongst the Waveney team but there seemed to be alot of panic when they were on the ball, and its def not as strong a team as the Waveney team i played against last time they were in the second!

I would say Waveney have as strong as squad as they had, difference being at the min the players arn't doing what is asked of them and it could end in tears which would be sad after work big man does year in year out no matter what playing personnel is there. Know big man was questioning his ability last week and maybe it is time to move for a new challenge.
Waveney be lucky to stay in division if things don't change and asap!

Saw the 2nd half of the game on sat morning and that definitely wasn't the same Waveney we played at the start of the year and gave us a real good game. Thing i noticed was a lot of slabbering and gurning at each other which is never good to see. Was a good win for the Thistle, who did play quite well. (Not Ritchaldo though, he was dropped ;Dl)
