St Comgalls at home this week.
After our humiliating defeat against the FC Inter Stars, we have to bounce back and get our season back on track. A few wins will put us up the table a good bit, and we need to start on Saturday!!

I think it was a mixture of us playing woeful and the Inter Stars playing really well.
TBH, they took the hand out of us at times and we just struggled to get into the game.
Think we lacked a bit of creativity at times, so hopefully when McNabb and Beggsy get back, it may rectify that!!

You will win 8 nil, maybe 8 - 1. Mind games Mowerman or are things going downhill in the Saint's squad?

The way Waveney is playing at the min it will be 8-1 to use Lawnmower man! Never seen Big Man as cross than i did Sat,would be one to keep everything in and deal with it within club but he was disgusted at the way some of the players conducted themselves on Sat and i don't blame him from what i seen. Time for a new challenge big man!

Think frustration got the bettrer of the majority of players on saturday, including myself, but thats no excuse. We didnt conduct ourselves very well in my opinion, but this week is a chance to make amends.
Im sure cecil was disgusted and as you say, you cant blame him. Big man is heart and soul of the Waveney, and we all need to have an attitude like his from now on.

I always feel desperately lucky after a 5 goal victory. Couldn't stop thinking about the luck we had yesterday. Your team were stuffed. Build a big bridge and get over it.

The only luck St Comgalls had was for their 4th goal -- ball was cleared and, to me, the young lad controlled it with his hand to push the ball to the ground, and then run through. All our lads stopped (which they shouldnt have done) but the wee forward provided a cracking finish to be fair! Ref was in a bad position to see it, I admit that though!!
Other than that i thouht we played well in first 20 mins, and after taking the lead we shouldve done a lot better!
I cant say much about the lads - as I was on the subs bench the whole game and dont want to pass judgement - but I think we need to pick our game up or we are going to be in trouble in the next few months!!

whoever wrote the 'use were lucky' comment done so as 02.30am yesterday -- im no DCI (although DCI Burnside was a very popular soap character for a while ) but i would guess this comment was made under the influence!!! ;D

after a blistering start i thought the swifts would win the game! they really took the game to st comgalls! but then it all went to s***!we conceded a sloppy goal! followed by a few more! let the heads drop and st comgalls ran out easy winners. disappointing performance from the swifts lost all the fight and more happy to pass the blame around the team! need to pull the finger out and grow a set. win the games in hand and we will be close to the playoffs
