Another big game on Saturday if its on! We'll be out to put right the heavy defeat we suffered earlier in the season! Training's been really good recently and we'll be full of confidence following the last result against St Comgalls! Lets hope we can get the 3 points and try to get moving up the league!

Simple as..lol That's easy said mate but we said that before the last game as well and we didn't do much of a job in keeping them quiet lol. I've heard Laird is away to Penarol?! He played really well the last time we played them!

This game is now on saturday after being postponed a couple of weeks back. If weather stays the way it was today there will be no doubt it will be on Heard a wee rumour at training tonight that some of the Carniny players mentioned that were leaving are signing for these boys at the next meeting which wud be fantastic additions to the squad...although as i say it was just a rumour!

That's somethin that could work against them if it were to happen, as they already have a big squad and they'll have to find a way to keep them all happy!

We played Lisnafillan a few weeks back and our squad is'nt that big, we started game with a centre forward and a right back playing in the middle of the park and since that we've added a few players, but also lost a couple to Connor as far as i'm aware and also another to Penarol, all we've done is change a few faces, hardly going to destroy morale. Our squad hasnt got any bigger cosidering players that have left and also players that are out injured, possibly for rest of season. Ady, judging from some of your posts on the Lisnafillan blog there has been plenty of players in and out at your club, especially all your hush hush signings (Wait till the league meetings). All these changes at your team causing Morale Issues If you want send some of them to Wakehurst and we'll look after them for you, morale at our team has never been a problem along with training. Also as you say Norton, the Carniny thing is nothing more than a rumour, won't hold my breath on that one. I'll wait till there signed and pulling on a Wakehurst top before i'd take much notice, although a couple of the players did train with us, it was nothing more than that. Looking forward to game on Sat, much the same as yourselves i'm sure, not a lot of football played recently.

Lol very good WAFC no Im the same as you I have a few boys signed but not all get a game so likewise I have prob 15 players I can call upon and most get a game. Training has started picking up thankgod with our new signings fighting to get into the squad we are now getting a good enough turn-out...also training saturdays if we have no game.

Looking forward to game on Sat, much the same as yourselves i'm sure, not a lot of football played recently. I think we're in the same boat mate as in that neither of us have had a game in a few weeks so it could be interesting in terms of fitness lol. We had a great session last nite and it killed me, so i'm not looking forward to the match in terms of fitness lol. But i think we're all champing at the bit to get out and play again and try to make up for the awful performance we put out against you's earlier in the season. A team with the quality of players that you's already possess in it will always do well and it'll be up to us to try and do what we weren't able to do in the last game and match you's in every position! I do believe we've now got a settled first 11 for the first time in a long time, and the 14/15 players coming on a sat are usually the same boys and the last couple of results have showed that i think. With a couple of new boys to come in on sat to the squad it bodes well for the rest of the season! Here's hoping lol.

Has to be mate, there's no reason why it shouldn't be as theres hardly been any rain all week. Plus the pitch should be in good enough nick after not being played on in over a month. Really looking forward to this one, lets hope we can take all 3 points

Beat 1-0 Can't believe we lost today, on another day we probably would have won 3 or 4, hitting the post a couple of times, it just wouldn't go in for us...and when it did the ref somehow decided it wasn't over the line, when Wakehursts keeper said it was a yard over the line at least. We were too busy complaining about that and Wakehurst got on with it, went up the other end, got a free kick and scored from it. Fair play to Wakehurst who were able to hold out and get the 3 points! But it's only one game, just means we'll have to pick ourselves up and work a bit harder in the next game and try and push ourselves up the league!

We'd have took a 1-0 win if it was offered at the start of the game - 3 points was a must for us after or latest run.
I'm sure many other teams will drop points to Connor this year and i'd be suprised if your not there or there abouts at the end of the season, like you say its only one game and still a long way to go for the teams in the top half of this league, plenty of points up for grabs.

norton u in yr wee report of the match u fail t mention the fact that we bossed the first half and shoulda had a penalty in it wen wee dean young came out n cleaned bambi he more or less admited so himsel!!!!you also fail to mention bambi hittin the post way a 25 yrd free kick or the counytless othger chances we missed it was only the last twenty mins wen we sat back n let yous come at us that yous caused us a threat but i honestly feel that had yous a scored we coulda went up yhe other end n scored.but its over now good luck for the season us have imporoved a hell of a lot tho wee billky mitchell could b a big loss mate hard as nals!!!!!!!! ps sort out da goal kicks lol

Apart from bambi hitting the post with a free kick i thought the only problems you's caused us were from set pieces with sponge and anthony blair always bein a threat, i don't think you's had that many other chances! and i wouldn't say you's bossed the the game for 70 mins either, although we both have biased opinions lol. I think if bambi hadn't went down the way he did he wud have got a penalty, can't believe the ref didnt give it lol, but i also cant believe he couldnt see the ball bein a yard over ur goal line Good luck for the rest of the season to you's as well and i will take ur criticism of my goal kicks on board ;D
