Does no one else think that the match report was a bit harsh??
Personally i thought the scoreline flattered them a bit. Yes they played well but when your playing 2 at the back they were inevitably going to get chances! We had a lot of possession - and a number of decent chances - but think the penalty knocked the wind out of our sails a bit and frustration seemed to build the more the second half wore on.

Agree - report is harsh, bit to doom & gloom to be our own website.

I thought you's played alright up until the penalty that basically killed the game off. It was always going to be hard to score two goals after that.
First half I thought was fairly even. From our point of view we didn't really get into any kind of rythym and I'm sure it wasn't a very pretty half of football to watch. The second goal we scored before half time was also fortunate.
Second half to be fair we did control the game well although the fact that you's were chasing the game obviously meant that you lost some shape and we therefore created quite a few chances.
All in all you's didn't play that badly. Its hard once you go a couple of goals down so I wouldn't worry too much about the second half.
You enjoy Lush on Saturday night Paul and Cussy?

Perhaps the report was bit harsh but Lisnafillan definitely dominated the game and looked sharper in most areas of the pitch. Goals either side of half time killed the game + meant we were chasing it + left ourselves open at the back. They have a good side + will definitely be up there come the end of the season. Just got to get on with things and get a better result next Saturday.

Music was good but got scunnered after a while, naturally meaning there was a little over indulgence!! ;D Don't think Lush is what it used to be im sorry to say. What you think of it?

My memory of the evening's antics is somewhat blurred I have to say but I had a good nite from what I do recall. Definately agree Lush ain't as good as it used to be.
I'll almost certainly be hitting Shine in 2weeks for the 10th birthday. Should be a good one!

"Westend, to their credit, shook this early setback off and equalised within 10 minutes when a long through ball caused trouble for the Swifts defence and Marcus Handford sneaked in to score..." Typical! Poachers goal DC would of been proud!!

Aye, our fixtures seem a bit strange. Played 10 games in league and cup and 8 have been at home. Quite looking forward to playing a few away games on some bigger pitches!!
Ps was that sme sort of slag about the poachers goal?! If it was you need some new material!! ;D

Think it was more of a slag at me, though I would like to think there's more to my game than poaching. Is there any word of the super sub returning to that place on the bench he has made his own?

What more do you have to your game DC? I think duck is faking injury, he loves being a season ticket holder too much! That gives me an idea....

What more do you have to your game DC? Well after Saturday, I can now say refereeing ;D I think duck is faking injury, he loves being a season ticket holder too much! That gives me an idea.... Not convinced by all duck's excuses. Think he just loves being in the WAFA crew on a Saturday morning too much.
