It was hardly the most convincing performance but we can at least look at the positives out of it, ie they didn't have a shot on target in the game even though they did put some good pressure on us and any shots they did have were from long range. Think we just lacked a bit of a cutting edge going forward and too often when we had it we didn't keep it.

There are some games that may not be pretty but sometimes its all about the result and saturday was one of those games. Think we displayed a master class in defending (bar a few dodgy incidents). Maybe if the WAFA contributed some funds towards the club in exchange for their season tickets entertainment value may increase in the near future!

Get the priorities straight WAFA crew How about the odd goal celebration DC!!! Or have you ran outta ideas cos you've scored so many! You've got two weeks now so im expecting summit good. Couple o somersaults Lua-Lua style should do the trick! At the next WAFA meeting to be held pitchside on the 15th Oct I shall raise the subject of Pay&Display for all future Westend games. All members shall be expected to attend for 10.30 sharp with umbrellas, weather permitting.

Would celebrate after I score but everybody just turns + runs back to half way line so I do the same rather than run about like a headless chicken on my own. As far as doing somersaults, I can just about manage a forward roll + thats it. Will try my best to think 1 up just to entertain the WAFAs-try + get u some value for money on a Saturday morning.

Maybe if you lost some of that weight Egspanyol then the somersaults would be abit easier to do! ;D

I need all 20 stone 3lbs to hold the ball up etc. I could maybe do a Shefki Kuqi belly flop instead. Not sure what your celebration is Dru - don't remember seeing you score ;D

Lol, I actualy should have a goal to my name this year but sadly the referee decided to make up some strange rugby style offside rule where the ball cant go forward so it was disallowed.
Unfortunately I never was blessed with the goal scorers touch like you though, probably why I play right back!
Thought you would have been well practiced in your Robbie Keane style celebration by now surely?

Talking about celebrations
an old favourite of mine was the nigerians marking their territory against the goal post but probably wouldn't be advisable at wakehurst as several canines have probably already been there
So i support the Kuqi celebration, do it

I support the Kuqi celebration as well - only for DC though not you Nigel - ground is getting quite soft and there will be no heavy lifting equipment so pull you out.

You make a good point, I think Nigel would be more suited to a Lee Sharpe style celebration by maybe doing an Elvis impression and dancing around the corner flag, any opportunity for him to show off that angelic voice and dazzeling feet must be taken!
;D ;D

All members shall be expected to attend for 10.30 sharp with umbrellas, weather permitting. 10.15 WAFA, thats a gross error for a supporters club!!

What's all this talk of nigels goal celebrations anyway??? The only goal he scored was by a Shore player! Naturally everyone was either laughing or debating which Shore player scored it which is why no one celebrated with him!

lets not get into goal celebrations marcus, you yourself are about as excitable as a jew entering Auschwitz. Inver game would be the reference.
Fusco gets more excited at the prospect of an open goal ten minutes before the match has started. Thats passion!!!!
