Just got to keep going. A long season ahead of us but your right Davy does look good. Just gotta pick up points away from home against the big guns.

Be interested to hear who you think the big guns are guesswhoback78. The second looks really tight again this year. Getting the games and points on the board early is not a bad thing at all.

Nobody has played as many as TFC, so using that analogy, then everyone else must be big guns... ;D ;D No longer with RAFC, but was just interested who u thought would be the big competition this year. RAFC will still give any team in the division a game.

LOL you could be back with RAFC yet Bumhole Teams to look out for this season in my opinion are obviously Ballykeel, then Ahoghill Rovers and i'd be keepin a wee eye out for Shore. I reakon we have the edge on most of the other teams, though on the day its anyones game. I was very very impressed with Ahoghill Rovers. So far they are the best team we have played that i've seen. They will be right up there come the season end

In my biased opinion the top 2 may be between ourselves, Ballykeel and Shore, who looked really good against us. Strange to hear about ye tipping the Rovers Puggie, maybe they had a bad day against us, but they were fairly poor against us, beat them 2-0, missed 2 pens and Andy French pulled off of a few decent saves. I thought both Ahogill teams would have been challanging ths season but they havent started well at all.

Haven't seen anything of Ballykeel this season but they keep getting results so no doubt they will not be too far off the pace in May. Expect Ahoghill Rovers to chase from promotion and Michelin were a strong squad when we played them last month so i reckon these 3 teams will be chasing automatic promotion. There are then a bunch of 4 or 5 teams that look as if they could challenge for play-offs (Thistle, Towers, Riverdale, Templepatrick) but still early days and no doubt there will be a few twists and turns through course of the season.

Can't really comment on the Big Guns yet, as i have only joined up, but been talking to a lads and they have sights on a few teams that will give a good run in the old 2nd division. Defo should be good this year, BallyKeel seem to be the team to beat, plus Michelin are always a strong team should boil down to them for the title.
As for the rest well there always a battle and good to see, always heathly.
Well plenty of games to go.

We were very lucky to get the result we did. I know you boys have a decent team, but I dont think yous are one of the favourites. We were poor against yous, and to be honest I dont think yous were much better that day. The league this season has a lot of capable teams, but Rovers and Ballykeel are my top 2, with Shore (if their main players can stay injury free) shouldnt be too far away from the top few. having said that I fancy us to beat them next time round. Riverdale are another side I would put on a level with Michelin. Good side, but a bit like ourselves 'Hot & Cold' Defo going to be a very interesting season, thats for sure.

'IF' I'm not expecting us to win the league, or even automatic promotion. Not at all. An improvement on last season is a start

If we win our games in hand on you then we will be above you Fair point, but if your pitch is in similar condition to last season then "games in hand" are what you'll more than have your fair share of. If that's the case then say hello to the wonderful mid-weeks and another relegation battle. In my humble opinion, of course.
