Quick report back by popular demand Started off really well, Henzo knocking it in from 6 yards in the 1st minute after some great play down the left from Sammy and Tommy McCullough. We continued to press on afterward and doubled our lead midway through the half with Ricky Hanna scoring after Leroy Kennedy hit the post. Shortly after Neil McKeown was brought down in the box and big Froggy put the penalty just wide. We dominated most of the half with Ahogill struggling to create any chances. 2nd half, as expected Rovers came out and attacked us right from the start but could only create a couple half chances which they didnt take. We then missed another oppurtunity to kill the game off when Andy French saved Froggy's second penalty after Henzo was brought down in the box. Rovers had also a man sent off in the same incident, which looked pretty harsh to be fair, and that really killed off any chance they had of getting back in the game. We fully deserved the win today, played some great football against a good team, though we really should have scored 4 or 5 goals, but it was by far the best we have played all season.

Nice to see a match report, it's been a while. Definitely one of our better performances so far this season. A quick one regarding the player being sent off for Ahoghill Rovers. I thought it was very harsh, so i asked the ref why it wasn't just a yellow. He said it was just a yellow and that wasn't why he was being sent off. Perhaps the Refs have been advised not to accept abuse or back-chat from players. Especially given the new fine system in place. C'mon the Michelin!
