3-3
Not a great result from the Waveney, but a point nonetheless!
First half, Glencloy certainly started the brighter team, and got a goal early on. But Waveney came back, and grabbed one before half time with a great free kick form big Shane Neeson, and then took the lead 10 minutes into the second half with another goal from big Neeson! Glencloy fought and battled hard though, and came back to score two good goals mid-way through the second half.
But Waveney were given a penalty with about 3 minutes left, when Big Fulton took the ball down in the box, beat one man, and totally skint another to then be brought down by a defender. McFadden converted the penalty to make it 3-3.

Minimal contact & obviously he was going to go down. Him running away laughing said it all! This all happened in the 53rd minute of the second half. A second half with little stoppages with the exception of subs! But i suppose a point may have been fair enough overall!

And as for him running away laughing, i didnt see it, but if he was, it was probably because thats the first time he has ever WON a penalty for any team, and a keeper winning a penalty isnt an everyday occurence!!! ;D I do agree with you on the fact that a draw was fair for both teams!!

If the 'foul' had of happened anywhere else on the pitch it wouldnt have been a foul....simple as. You boys wouldnt of even shouted for a foul if it had of happened in the centre circle for instance. And considering the other tackles that were quite meaty all evening (from both sides) that went unpunished the one on the keeper was very soft. funny thing was I asked the ref at the time what it was for....he said our man pushed yours to the ground........that didn't happen! Playing in the near pitch dark was fun though...

the "Foul" - ....sour grapes? haha, i suppose everyone is entitled to their opinion!! I thought it was a blatant penalty, but thats my opinion. Aye, to be honest, it was getting quite dark for the last 10-15 minutes like!! Im sure boys will be glad to get mid-weeks finished this week!!
