Templepatrick were beat 5.2 by a shore team who deserved the win.
The first half Templepatrick shaded, though shore got a goal just before half time. A mistake, and really sloppy pass intercepted in midfield and shore forward Phil made no mistake with the finish.
Templepatrick however had most of the posession, and played some really smart football, and were disappointed to go in trailing at the break.
Halftime: Templepatrick 0 v 1 Shore
Second half seen Templepatricks injury woes take another twist. With 3 players sidelined who started against Ahoghill Rover on Monday night there were to be 2 more standing beside them. First to go was Stuarty Wilson, who picked up a groin injury, and secondly was Andy.
In fairness we went to bits after this, with the team having to be reshuffled due to the centre midfield and centre back being replaced, the team lost its confidence. Shore on the other hand started to play, and before we knew it we found ourselves another 3 goals down.
Ross Mcnab who put in the MOTM performance for Temple pulled one back from the spot and Jonny Fields scored a long range screamer, but it didnt stop Shore adding their 5th, and gave them the deserved win.
Final Score: Templepatrick 2 v 5 Shore Wanderers
I look forward to the replay of this game, when hopefully we'll not be struggling as much. I know other teams are in the same position, and thats football. In sayin that Shore deserved the win.
Ballykeel away on Sat, another tough fixture.
