Templepatrick got their new season under way against a very good Glenarm Rovers side in Larne on Friday 8th August. I wasnt at the game myself, but I heard that the 5.1 scoreline didnt really reflect the game.
Glenarm took their chances and punished any mistakes that Templepatrick made, which just goes to show their quality. Ross McNab grabbed the Temple goal from the spot, and the referee's nomination, but Glenarm were well and truely in the driving seat.
Glenarm have always been a hard team to break down. More so over the past 3 seasons under Monty senior. A good footballing side, who have shown they are more than capable of holding their own in the 1st division.
