Bad day at the Office for the Waveney. Waveney played very well int he first half, even though Inter Stars went 1-0 up, from a VERY shady free-kick (well taken free-kick, but personally i dont think it was a free kick at all! The ball was won, and the Inter Star threw himself in the air like f***in Christian Ronaldo on a bad day). Waveney pulled one back, and went into the second half the stronger team, out-playing Inter Stars for 15 minutes at the start of the second half. Fair play to FC Inter Stars though, they dug in and got another goal, even though it was against the run of play!! Waveney got the equaliser at about 75 minutes, but Extra time seen the game just get away from us. I must say one thing though, FC Inter Stars are an excellent footballing team, and will do very well in the BSML if they keep a couple of their steady players, BUT, i did feel that they made a meal of some of the tackles which were going in. Couple of boys went down as if they had been shot, and the tackles were good 50:50's. A lot of free kicks were given which frustrated the Waveney players, and therefore there didnt seem to be a real "Flow" to the game. It kinda ruined it, cus the Inter Stars lads like to leave the boot in also, and a few very high challenges were thrown in, but not cautioned. Ah well! Waveney just have to look to the Ace Cup now, and Holywell @ Wakehurst tuesday night!

Would have to agree iwth you about the antics of Interstars, they scream like girls when they are challenged but are very fond of leaving the studs in. Shower of barstewards

who cares if they did or not??
ive seen them play and they play football the way it should be played, some really good players..
so f**k they make a meal out of hard tackles.. its nearly as annoying as the slabbering that goes on from the lines from the majority of the teams every week.

They are a good side. The midfielder Seb is a great player, and their centre back, great touch and never just 'Hoofs' the ball up the pitch. Some good football played by them, and to be honest, they passed around us at times.
I just was annoyed at the fact they like to leave the boot in, jump in with the studs up and hit some harsh high tackles, but whenever they get into a 50:50, they go down far too easily!! Its not very sportsman-like if you ask me! If your willing to give out a bootin, be willing to take one back!

Yea, your right Len! I will agree with you there. Im not saying they are a bad team, nor are they dirty. But it can be frustrating when one of your players hits a fair tackle, and the guy bounces into the air like a grenade has just gone off beside him......then 5 minutes later, the same tackle is hit on one of our players, and nothing is done about it! Frustration.....maybe thats how they beat us

fc inter stars are a hard team to get used to, they beat us 3-2 at the start of the season then we thumped them 4-1 last week. in all fairness waveney should of hammered them being first div if 7towers can. Wouldnt mind a little pre-season friendly set up between the towers and waveney possible???

Pele mate I think the term you used 'like a grenade going off beside them' isnt in the right context lmfao. Most of these lads are from war torn countries and know all about grenades etc lmfao aw you just me laugh out loud mate quality

too right they were - many a hum dinger between the two sides.friendly wud be good il mayb mention to big cecil next time i see him.
as for foreigners - they gave us a football lesson down at showgrounds round october beat us 3-2 played us off park. but couple of weeks ago we humped them 4-1 at the waveney and i swear it should have been more. they deserve to be champions no doubt but on their day can be beaten. agree wit whoever said bout them leaving the foot in - they do like to do that so if they are big enough to dish it out they should be big enough to take it. they are not doin themselves any favours wit the gay screams cos some day when one of them really is hurt wot happens. good to see them in lge tho,wit so many of them floatin bout ballymena it was only a matter of time before they wanted to play in bsml
