Following a successfull meeting of the Arthur McClean Appreciation Society at 12:00pm on 25 December 2006, the building of a statue in honour of our great leader has been given the green light. It will be erected at the top of the moat hill welcoming all those arriving in Ballymena, and should be constructed by JUne 2007, exactly 100 years since Arthur took his first job in football, taking over Demesne Olympic in 1907. Any ideas for the statue would be appreciated, this is a thank you to Arthur from his fans, ex players, coaches, chairmen etc who have received so much from Arthur over the last 100 years. Long live McClean......

He certainly has!! lol. Perhaps we could have him pointing in the direction of Ballykeel, in open defiance of the silly thug who threatened the Kaiser's life before we stepped in to defend!! Would be a nice touch i think!!

Good thinking fishy, itll be an act of open defiance. Apparently arthur isnt free this year to pose for the statue, so stephen seagals going to take his place. Not much in it anyways.
