Justice was tonight the correct outcome for the Keel in their protest over St. Comgalls fielding an illegible player. Ballykeel were awarded the three points with their opposition deducted 12 points and also fined. Had the referee intervened in the first place with his knowledge of who actually was doing nets for them that day then this wouldn't have dragged on so long. Having confirmed to our secretary he knew the player in question was illegal, he bottled out when contacted by the league when saying he didn't want to get involved which beggars belief. If a referee knows a player by name and knows its different to that on the card why doesn't he inform the league. Makes you wonder why the f**k is he a ref and who the f**k was he covering for that he couldn't inform the league.

Thats great news Darren. I'm glad to hear that they got caught out. This sort of thing is not on and they fully deserve their 12 point deduction TBH.
As far as the ref goes, thats very disappointing! You would expect better from him.

will the hedge trimmer now come back on and apologise after earlier denying these allegations. wat a p***k that guy is what would i aploigise to you for jeff? ur a prick. its a fair result what has happened to the saints. my understanding was the player was never illegible. i dont run nor pick the team. in fact my views on playin illegible players are quite similar to the rest. doing that keeps proper signed team players out of a game. has any1 lost sleep over it? doubt it. turn the page................. |

Good to see them deducted points but aye hate saying this about any team but they should be kicked out because sure Last season FC Antrim got kicked out of the BSML for the same reason.

Nicky lad all you have to do is read the papers. They say it all about my2 wonderful cracking goals, esp as i waltz past several players then rounding the keeper. what a striker my friend, what a striker. My chest is in some knick lad, you show know as i catch you on in work looking at me, what would becks have to say if I told him you were trying to cheat on him
