Glencloy Swifts v Massereene Swifts

Another good performance from Massereene, who deserved to get something out of this game.

We went 1.0 up after having all the play in the first half, with a Dee Thompson goal, on 15minutes. The pitch was wet, and tackles were flyin in. With tempers flaring.

Have to say I was very disappointed with the conduct of some of the Glencloy players. But thats another story.

Second half seen Massereene have more of the play and we were unlucky not to increase our lead on a number of occasions.

Glencloy made it 1.1 after 15 minutes of the restart, with a shot though stopped by Kev, still managing to trickle in.

We still had our chances to take the win which we didn't do, only for Glencloy to get a second 5 minutes from time.

Overall a disappointing result for us, for we deserved better

didn't think either side played well on what was a difficult surface. poorest ive seen the swifts all season. certainly a few tackles were flying in, nothing too serious, but were made to look worse than they were with wet pitch / slight exageration i felt on your side.

red card fully deserved, probably should have walked after his first, second one was just stupid no complaints.

would i be right in saying you were playing on saturday yourself?
