i find it rather weird too that basement know about them!! im feelin fresh after the session yesterday if only i wasnt the unluckiest f**ker about id be in contention lol. budgie def missin tuesdays game couldnt even kick a ball 10 yards yesterday aye budgie u and rusty out too, we are short on numbers but hope weve enough on the day to get job done...would mean that much more! ps: im fresh too, never left the house last night and wont be out the day either ;D Chimpy back for this darren? Big boost if he is. |

This is strange 1 bout mcburney and misty ... they have played most games in it so far ... even played them v skyblues . no problems there . all of a sudden basement no more than a bsml club ....... i doubt sum1 has filled sum 1 in and he made the call ....

So lads whats the team news for the semi's  Who's in and who is out? Noticed the Homers training yesterday at the Showgrounds and was shocked to see Campbell being put in the wall at the set pieces. Maybe injured? u are full of s**te ha ha ha i was knocking free kicks right into that top c the whole time, im surprised u could even see with that terrible green coat u were wearing u looked like a big green fruit pastal  misty and mcburney cant play because basement enquired about them having played higher league or something within the last 3 years, and some rule f rules them out on tuesday and the final if we make it, absolute biggest pile of pish i have heard in my life. but the worst part about it is, how the feck would basement even know who mcburney or misty were??? just have to get on with it Ha ha ha i love that coat and its all about the warmth on a Sat morning f**k im sure those two are gutted what is the problem? Sure only other team they played for was Raceview. If there is a problem better knowing now rather than winning semi and then them putting a protest in. |

Just reading this all now, mad situation, can't understand why they aren't allowed to play from semi final stage onwards, either they are allowed to play the whole tournament or not allowed to play in it at all. If its to do with Raceview, then surely that wouldn't rule them out of Junior Shield, however if it does, then surely RSB would be entitled to go into semi finals? Or even Basement straight to the final? Hopefully neither of these two scenarios though as I'd love to see a homers Carniny final.

i think this rule actually rules misty, mcburney and sooty out. Infact reading the rules you posted ronny, it would appear that this one would rule a couple of them out aswell:
(f) Any player who has at any time taken part in more than 12
(twelve) matches during the previous 3 (three) seasons or more
than 4 (four) during the current season in a competition senior to
the Irish Junior Cup under the jurisdiction of any other National
Association
