Shore 2-2 Abbeyview
Gutted to only come away with a point tonight. We started well and got ahead through a well worked corner but were pegged back by a super free kick. Got ahead again in the second half only for the same person to score another screamer of a freekick.
There was a massive crowd down tonight and I'm sure it was good for the neutral to watch. Both teams gave absolutely everythin they had and it would have been harsh on either to lose. I have to say though we felt robbed after having what we felt were two perfectly good goals ruled out, one in each half. I would love to know how the ref came to the decisions he did tbh.
Thats our last 3 league games we have come off feeling let down by the standard of refereeing maybe its just because of the stage of the season but last week the ref must have apologised about 5 times for wrong offside calls against the blues(yet he kept calling them wrong) then we had the phantom penalty against the rovers in injury time and now these decisions tonight its hard to stomach. Starting to sound like a celtic fan ;D
We just have to keep plugging away put in the same effort and commitments in our last two games and hopefully we will get our reward.
Good luck to shore for the rest of the run in was a good battle tonight.
