Another tough game tomorrow against the sky blues. We've had a couple decent results recently so hopefully we can keep that run going although the sky blues will be wanting to get back on track after getting beat by the homers in the cup last week.
Just hope the pitch holds up.

Disappointing performance from us today.
First half was very poor, don't think we tested the sky blues keeper once and they took the lead from mervyn crawford after some nice build up play around the box.
Sky blues doubled the lead when Giggsy scored a super free kick from just outside the box. Sexy was out main danger, created a great chance for himself which the keeper saved well and then smashed the bar from 30 yards. In between brucey hit a 2 footed lunging tackle inside his box when the ref gave a corner for, but although he took the ball, the way footy is now, you cant hit tackles like that, so sky blues got away with it which couldve been a game changer. Sky blues got a third before sexy got a great , and well deserved goal at the end.
Were struggling for numbers at the minute so sir fishton came back and helped us today, came on 20 minutes from the end and we looked a far better team for it. We didn't get much service to our front men throughout the game but fish came on and linked everything up and once again set sexy up for his goal.
We probably didn't get too much luck today but you make your own luck at times and the sky blues won more battles than us so deserved the win.
Another big game against abbeyview next week .

Good post Mitty.
Think we just had enough today to take the points in what was a good hard fought game.
We both tried to play football on what was a very difficult pitch.
Bruceys tackle looked a lot worse than it actually was I think as he took the ball very cleanly but you're right on another day and a different ref it could have been very different!!

Huge win for Sky Blues today but not unexpected as they have improved alot this season and are a strong unit. After Michelin getting a few good results i expected them to kick on but this defeat don't leave them in a good spot in the league  Rubberman was in bad bad form earlier  |

Michelin have cut our wages these days mate :-)
We have a small squad of about 15/16 at best anyway, we had Darren burgoyne and Tom Agnew missing today, fish is getting his hand sorted soon and will be out for the season, so mid weeks probably will be tough.
