a great lever in his job and also in his goal to be the next manager. So you think Gerry Armstrong is interested in being N Ireland manager? Odds cut on Gerry from 14's to 2/1 ........

i'd say o'neill or magilton, that's my hunch, tho dowies bound to be in with a shout. magilton & dowie might be cheaper than o'neill....aahhh does my head in, i'd like jones to get it to be honest as he'd come in with no favourites & play the best available team, which will end feeno & healy's career's along with maybe a few others. be nice to see o'neill get it too....hard to beat a good brigadie man

it's a hard one to call as it's not that the IFA have the £££ to attract a "big" manager but if they hoke about, there's been decent managers mentioned & prob a lot more not working. we had mcilroy who had all the heart in the world, but was as much use as might right eye, so sometimes thats not the best option either, whoever comes in has to know what he's on about & managed before, so that rules out the likes of big gerry (legend & I hope he keeps workin for the IFA) & also fowler lol

I'd give it to Dave Jones, a decent experianced manager who would have good knowledge of the championship and lower leagues were alot of N Ireland players play.

Also managed to keep a small club in the Premier league competing with the big boys for several years which could come in useful! Could do alot worse IMO.

Nice to see big McAuley break his duck for the Baggies last nite.
Brunts pass for their first goal was sublime.
