Great wee nights training, a lot of hard work put in by everyone in prep for sat.
Particularly liked the circle with two in the middle chasing down the ball,
Rubberman + 1 closed down like men possessed, gritted teeth, determination and fighting for every pass.
Then it happened ... Charging from Fusco to wigsey to nail like a lion with a gazel in its sights,
The ball then fell to alwayslate who controlled and with a 2nd touch, through the open legs it went! Oley! Was the cry! Carslberg don't do nutmegs but if they did ...

Oh a almost forgot, the look on rubbermans face when he realised who had just done him should appear on a credit card add, as it was priceless!!!

Nutmegs should count as points in a game something similar to GAA

pele mind your own  ask wee alfie about me megging him when he was playing for penerol  think he was going for the blue rope after the game  Was this the same day you came on last 5 minutes and Mr Pele sent you to the shop for 40 of the finest Regal? And please don't denie it ;D |

Per season?  Pre season??? Oh is that how it is? Well then .... "the court". 1999 I recall megging u 3 times in one outing, then tere was that team knockout when we used to sneak onto the astro turf, Sunday's @ showgrounds and then there was that time in the Rect ..... The list goes on and on lol Pele, feel free to jump in anytime with ur list! In fact anyone who can remember sending Rubberman here for a pack of cigs anytime in their playing days, please post here!! That a big enough bite for u Rubberman? Lol 😚 |

After I inflicted the 10 yard meg on him in pre season he went straight out and equipted himself with a new pair of boots with steel studs...very next session he kicked me in the knee cap...weak sore. Only for the fact Skiddy's Doctor was away on his summer hols I was able to attend the next session, where he kicked me again. |

I know ye had yer back turned at the time the 15 yard meg was invented, and I'm sure it hurt even more when Fish shouted yer name for you to turn round while the ball travelled to yer widen legspan, adding to the insult 10 fold, but that's no need to go round kicking folk, ye dirty brute".... That was word for word!! |

His memory is very selective alright....always forgetting to close the legs!! Normally I would say a 20 yarder isn't possible but having invented the 18 yarder against him with relative ease, I can't doubt ye!! |
