Sure they already are... As for there senior team, false info Pele...researched it this morning and I quote " why would we go backwards instead of forwards". Not what my Raceview source told me Moe Mind came from top brass.

Just reading what Pele has said about Raceview coming back to the BSML, if indeed this was the case would it be feasible for them to come back to the first division straight away? Not just the fact of the amount of teams etc but it would surely deny a 2nd division team the chance to be promoted.
It would be very interesting if it did happen as i agree the Intermediate isn't what it was but to a certain extent the BSML first division isn't either purely for the fact that a few years ago the cups etc could have been won by anyone but now i think there are only 3-4 teams capable of silverware.
Also if this is what Raceview are really contemplating why would Carniny want to step up to a league that isn't really going to expand them as a club, could they go elsewhere??

Nice post tallboy...pele full hot air regarding his statement. Think raceview should look for a better standard of league. Carniny...well they seem to be happy winning 7 nil every week and getting to the semi final of the junior competitions as dowie was bragging about.

Some examples of raceviews structure and how well they are run. Fenced of pitch with there own changing rooms where you run straight unto pitch. Warm up and training gear. Match day sponsorship. Hot food in the thatch after every home game. Sponsored by one of the biggest haulage companies in Europe. Train at eaton park which is floodlit and on grass all year round. Manager, coach and medical/kit man. Fully functional committee with men and woman. Golf day annually with every hole sponsored by major companies like p@o for example which raises them about two grand. Tracksuits and kit bags which is no big deal now adays but still smart. Think there structure is prity good IMO. Just some examples by the way I'm sure nemasisters could maybe tell you more. And raceview as a club is not going backwards think that league is which unfortunately has a knock on affect...fantastic club. 1st class..

Spoke to micky a few times about it in pms lenny, and I'm probably biast but I personally think they are the bench mark at our level as regards a club. They have maybe took a bit of a battering as late with the standard greatly dropping in that league and a few stalwarts of the club leaving...but what they have achieved and the way they run the club is first class.

Id totally agree.. i know at saints we try to run as tight a ship and as professional a ship as possible. Our Major problem is money, id say we are through 1200 quid already from the start of the season, on equiment, gear, training facilities, match days etc. Its a non stop struggle, as there is only so much fund raising you can do. Any spare few quid we get will go towards the players in some shape or form. Does McBurney 'look after' raceview??

In my time, phillip was a massive help and heavily involved. Since he left I'm not sure what his involvement is but like sooty I would say he still has a big interest in the club.

To much traveling to training fish, but still go and watch there games and that when I can. Was only there a season and a bit but loved every minute of it playing or not. Great winning mentality and everybody there gives everything they have.

I did't actually say they were coming back but i did hear they were thinking about it and alot of the players wanted it also. They would have to start in the third like anyone else and i believe this is the reason for their reserves joining as a few years down the line the reserves could be in the 2nd/1st. I'd love to see them back as it would be another great club in the Bsml.

' Junior I was trying to ascertain if raceview even could step back down again into the first, or do you know from your contacts that they are happy there and are just going through a rough patch on the pitch at the moment. I would love to see carniny step up to a higher level just to see what they could achieve but as Chris says they would like to win the junior cup/shield first which is understandable as it would mean a full list of honors for the club.....then maybe who knows Or maybe Chris could tell us if Carniny moving to a higher league is even something they would like to do?
