This sad news has rocked me ...steven will b sadly missed in the bsml ... steven was a rock at the backline for the rovers , great clubman ,great captain .... ,great player ... we loved our battles way we steve ......
i still cant get over this shock ....when i recieved the call , tears ran down my face ...
my thoughts are with gareth (his big bro ) and family ,kathryn at this hard time ...
also dennis (rovers gaffer) hes lost such a star and great friend ...
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN .....

Had many a battle with him even mouthing to each other but after each game he still shook my hand, gentleman is right, very sad news.

The more and more I think about this the harder it is to come to terms with. He was an absolute gentleman, was a great laugh and a pleasure to know and it's an honour to call him a friend. As has been said he was a super player, he loved the bsml and Ahoghill Rovers and was a superb captain for them.
RIP mate, you'll be sadly missed.
