What a time to be negotiating his contract with his current form.
Surely Wenger has to go against his morals and make him the highest player ever in Arsenal history... if everyone deserves it he does.
Good to see Arsenal come good again and the idiots that doubted Wenger look good now.

Fantastic player....you would need to spend 40M to get the same class of player so for me its a no brainer to pay him big money to stay. |

paul merson made a great point...if he ever proved his fitness he would be up front for barcelona he is that good. hope he stays as he is class and in my biast opinion the best striker in the world at the present time although as an arsenal fan wouldnt put him in the same bracket as thierry henry or bergkamp just yet.

He can be that good arsenal had to stick my him imo junior, even with cesc there if van persie played arsenal where a different team.
love watching him at the min, fair play to arsenal after such a bad start but still think they mite struggle for top 4 but hope they manage it.

best striker in the premiership!! maybe bias as im an arsenal fan lol there was talk a while back he wasn't for signin a new contract until he sees who they bring in on january. fair enough i think cause this will make wenger realise he needs to keep his top players by bringin in some quality around them and maybe put an end to the feeder club for big teams talk

Of arsenal need to get van.p resigned, he hasn't done anything diff this Season except stay fit! Must b an international break due! Lol he has always scores goals for arsenal but hes injury prone! Real question is will he resign? I don't think so, think you'll see a big money move to man city in January or summer transfer window to replace tevez! £250,000 a week has away of persuadin players to leav a club!
