Abbeyview 3-2 Clough
Massive 3 points today. Good battling performance and nice to finally get the reward for our efforts. Was a tough game n we fell behind to a very very soft pen. Worked hard to go in at half time leading 2-1 after two good finishes form robbo. Clough pegged us back but Alan donnelly scored an even better goal than his effort last week to give us the 3 points. One of the best strikes iv seen in the bsml.
Big norty does some gurnin ;D

I have to say it was a pen, cause obvs you couldnt see him pulling his shirt in the box with the referee watching him in full view with a great angle! Soft is not the word i would use, i would use the defender got himself on the wrong side of the attacker and pulled him. If i was an attacker id go down to because the opportunity was there for a peno. Brilliant game to referee in thought and i give credit to both teams well done, i throughly enjoyed it. And to tell you how fast it was i got 9.3km with is what a premier leaugue ref does.

Apart from the pen decision I would agree you had a very good game Paul. You missed a foul on the rb in the build up to the pen which was one of the reasons he was wrong side. They were both pulling at eachother and the attacker went down like a $10 hooker that's why I feel it was soft. But your right it was a good game played in the right spirit. O and you got a couple of offside decisions wrong at the end |
