Cowards tackle - I don't mind a referee getting silly offsides or meaningless free kicks wrong but to give yellow cards for that tackle yesterday was disgusting, putting players safety at risk letting players away with it. Shouldn't be allowed to ref again the b*****d.

We had a really bad ref yesterday to, he told 1 of the players that he tackled with 2 feet in the air so don't do it again.

Just so you know Mackers, along with the serious knee injury he also has a broken leg, hopefully their cuts and bruises are ok!!! well Gerry(maccers) disappointed no response from you to fact player has broken leg. Carnlough gonna have to get over this hatred of all saints which is blantantly obvious on this forum and elsewhere! Talk to me about it any time Gerry. You know i live out bay and am all for carnlough doing well and for that matter saints. Contrary to popular belief great club and bunch of lads as i found out last season. If players want to move on and better themselves so be it as was proved last year with 3 carnlough men Sat morn champs.

If players want to move on and better themselves so be it as was proved last year with 3 carnlough men Sat morn champs. wow. as i said last night i simply put across the ltob side of the argument. for the record, i was talking to the fella again today and he mentioned the tackle you's refer to. said it was a bad challenge and a red would have been justified. he confirmed what i already knew about who done the tackle. he's a young lad and is rash as f**k so i'm not really surprised. obviously never nice to hear of someone breaking a leg. i never made any comment on this other than to make the point that ltob players were on the receiving end of bad challenges. i've not read about a ltob player going off after an asob player stamped on his achilles but as all saints are squeaky clean i expect we wont. re carnlough and all saints rivalry, i'd not know much about it. as you know i'm only in the village a few years and it all happened before i was involved with the swifts. i've saw all saints play once in my life in a 0-0 draw at stoneyhill, i think it was when you and dingle were in charge so there's no beef there. i know 3 all saints players. andy and colin who i have a lot of time for and one other who i knew from school. i'm left school a long time and wasn't a big fan of him back then but i've not had a conversation with that person in years so for all i know he could be a lovely fella now. i've no doubt if you go back to last year when asob won the league and you check facebook statuses i was on congratulating the lads on their triumph. seem to remember sending them good luck messages too before the big carniny game and sat following the game on twitter, awaiting updates and was delighted for them to be champions. not because i like or dislike asob or carniny but because i liked the 3 carnlough lads who were involved. why i feel strongly on this game in particular and ltob getting a hard time, you are also well aware of. i remember standing in mccormicks shop and discussing members of my family with you, who have had long associations with ltob. i'm sure you'll remember as you even asked me to tell him you were asking after him...

Devastating news about lyness....the man has been unreal for us and here's hoping for a speedy recovery! As for this carnlough/all saints nonsense, my view is yes there has been a bit of resentment regarding players leaving, but we've moved (to the extent that most of the players have returned) on and both clubs are doing alright for them selves, which I'm obviously delighted for! I know maccers personally and know he wouldn't mean any mallace....he's a gentleman! As for the tackle against lyness, what annoyed me was the players reaction. To be giving someone the fingers while he's down in pain I think is a disgrace.....and as for the ref, I've never come across an attitude like it!
