well northend have proven they can stick it in div 1 and we finished 6th a few years back..have youse boys even been in div 1 b4 Lol....use no very little about this league thistle spent 9 seasons in the first highest finish second under donaghy followed by a third place finish two seasons later under Tony jones...little bit of history 4 u.... |

We were cruising it that year under donaghy then he walked out after we drew with penrol cause we missed 2 pens!!! Think u were playing |

Well done to Ahogill today wanted the points more and played some good stuff.Thought we couldve added a couple with the one that hit the post and one off the line but all in all they had more chances and more possession throughout the 90 mins.Going to be hard to stop imo and think it definately is a 2 horse race.From our point of view we need to take points off all the other teams to secure a mid table finish and stabilise this year in the 2nd. Well done to wee Bale thought he had a great game today and was very busy working the line well.Cant believe ive done my ligaments prob looking at 6 weeks out,gutting  Anyhow well done again from Cmills Thistle,its gonna be a good battle between the two top teams. |

I think I can speak for everyone at thistle by saying were happy to have got all 3 points. Can see why use are so good at home. Very small pitch and compact which suited your style. Thot we were excellent first half and stopped in the second. But got the job done so were happy. Best wishes to snout, looked bad and hope your back fit and healthy soon. Think cmills will be more than okay stabilising in div 2, I personally see playoffs for them. Good luck boys Jason McFadden was top class today against a very physical opponent in Keiron. Didn't give him anything and I think that hurt mills. |

great 3pts today .... we passed the ball so well 1st half . 2nd half cmills never let us play as much ...... thought our whole squad played well and it took that . jason mcfadden never gave the big striker a kick ... thats the games mcfadden loves . sad to c snout go down with injury ... wish him a speedy return ... Good luck mills .....snouts mind games workd well., dick reid had broken bone in foot on wed and recoverd to play today ;D wee blaney unhappy , cos he walked straight in .  TLTW |

Think it showed big Dick wasnt comfortable today.As for Chris he understands its a squad game and horses for courses some times the manager picks the team he feels will do the best job,thats all,no biggy and no fall outs at the mills.
As i said we'll be happy to finish mid table but try our best in every game .
Well done anyway although what were you at for that goal?catchin turkeys??lol

Even the goal keeping greats make mistakes....snout should b aware of this heard there were a few in his time at the homers!!! Don't think the Thistle should b concerned about cloughmills squad rotation, just because it wouldn't happen at the Thistle doesn't mean other can't do it....we at the Thistle must remember we have a SQUAD of players who r capable of walking into any team in the second some teams just wouldn't have the same confidants in there players!!!
