When does the draw for the semi's take place? If say, carniny and homers draw each other, will the county antrim FA hold the game at the showgrounds? I think going back 2 years, crumlin star met ardoyne wmc in the final and they staged it at solitude because both teams came from belfast. If the situation arises I hope it wouldn't be held at Inver or Dixon park. Both pitches are in ridiculous shape |

I thought the semi final was always played at ballyclare comrades ground and the final at seaview...can't see this changing as its not the bsml picking the location its the county antrim fa.

Plus it's like a beach @ blanchflower. Obviously if it came about showgrounds would be perfect location wise, but instead of going to Dixon or Inver, whIch they likely will, there's no reason not to consider riada stadium

Down at the game and have to say i thought Castlewellan were the better side, bossed the game for long periods but then Dowie showed his class with a brilliant finish.
Castlewellan had some very good players and were a big strong side so was a great win for Carniny.

Yeah gutted at the result, as you say we were the better side on the day but our finishing let us down for once. You'll know how we feel having outplayed Bessbrook only for it to come to nothing. Best of luck in the semi final and I hope you get the draw you are looking for, Carniny v Homers at the showgrounds - now that would create some buzz up in Ballymena. Anyway as I say good luck and thanks for the hospitality |
