Great battling performance today on another day we take our chances and win by a lot more!! Glenarm defintely are a strong team and glad to have got the win over them today!!
Great to get back to winnings ways!!

It was a good match today wee Joe thought we maybe deserved a point from it in the end! You's did miss some chances not to mention two pens. Good game played in the right spirit gd luck to the saints. Don't think that 3G is as good as the cliff in larne mate!

No where near it monty, im pretty sure the cliff is 4g.
On the match itsself, we had 2 great chances early doors and played really well for first 10-15.
Glenarm then took over, caused us alot of problems and passed it great, goal finally came, absolute cracker too..cant rem who got it!! ;-)
To be fair to us, we bounced back and got some luck with the equaliser through chick whick took a big deflection..
We then got another one through chick good finish.
Start of the 2nd half for 15 i thought we edged it and missed 2 feckin penalties..
we gradually dropped off as glenarm pushed on and threw everything at us, they mssed a great chance with a free header at the back post from a set piece.
All in all i thought we did enough for the win but once again a great battle with Glenarm.
All the best for the rest of the season lads, im really shocked youse are in the position youse are, but put together a run and 4th spot is all to play for.

Good hard game as always against the Glenarm men. Great to see wee Loughran's debut today, class act who is superb on the ball and will fit in perfectly.... surprise surprise though he got injured ha ha cya next year mate ;D Glenarm goal was lucky, Rovers tried to cross it and it duffed it into the corner  |

great game, end to end. thought saints deserved the win with the chances yous had, def need to practice pens though, whos turn next? specs for me  we could have nicked a point in the end but it would have been a smash and grap. yous are strong side and imo we missed big ian and cyril in the middle today. pele you like a wee moan, you played a free kick straight out of play then blamed your rb for not being there , then get the poor man took off for lenny ;D i love watching specs, flying machine but funny. p.s what about my cross good luck rest of season lads hopefully we get a run going from next week and get up this league a bit. by the way them grass pitches look in bad nick for next sat!  that 3g pitch is pure pish, £90- id tell them to stick it! |
